Alice Cescatti specialises in blending precious metals with water gilding and painting techniques to create her paintings. Alice was classically trained in London in the restoration of gilded and painted furniture, completing a four year apprenticeship in Fulham. Previous to this, she studied Fine Arts in New Zealand and Interior Design in London.
Alice has travelled extensively as a gilder and found special inspiration for her paintings in her time teaching in Vietnam and in the South Pacific.
