The vibrations positively affect the nervous system by slowing respiratory, brain and heart rates, reducing stress and restoring balance and wellbeing. In a gong bath, you will be asked to bring a mat or reclining chair, a blanket and comfortable clothing. As you relax into the space, sound frequencies are used to help you go into a state of meditation and soothe you on a cellular level. Gongs are powerful instruments of change that resonate through your body like a massage. Soothing and detoxifying the effects should last for several days after the session.
