Lois Hopwood – paintings & drawings

A newcomer, a landscape painter living on the Welsh Borders, Lois trained in Fine Art followed by Film Design at The National Film School.

Susan Disley -ceramics

New hand-built stoneware forms from this established ceramicist. ’Free and relaxed shapes that embody a gentle sense of humour: …beautifully crafted’ (Emmanuel Cooper)

Joanna Young – dance and film

’Works on Grass’, a Dance Film and series of images

Critically acclaimed choreographer Joanna Young and her company Alice Theatre presents a visually hypnotic, multi-media reflection of landscape, tradition and ritual. Collaborating with renowned filmmakers Simon Clode and Marc Heatley, Joanna presents her exquisitely detailed choreography alongside a series of images by photographer Iain Payne.

Inspired by the vast Welsh landscapes and visual artist Georgia O’Keefe the artists bring the soul of the outside into the gallery.
