Currently on show in our bathroom, a wonderfully light and airy room for displaying art, are a series of large charcoal and pastel life studies by Martina Jirankova-Limbrick.
Martina was born in the Czech Republic. She came to England to study illustration in 1997, and since then has written and illustrated a number of children’s books. Alongside her delicate illustration work, Martina continues to explore and develop her already accomplished life drawing skills. Martina has exhibited her artwork widely in exhibitions and galleries, as well as being published in magazines.
