Sara Moorhouse
Blue / Orange Gloss Vessel Large
Hand thrown & turned ceramic
20h x 25.5w cm
£795
Sara’s exploration into ceramics, colour theory and spatial perception began with a MA at Cardiff in 2003, with ideas developing further through her PhD study in 2006. Sara looks at the ways in which spaces within landscape appear altered depending on the ever-changing colours of season, weather, time and farming. Bowls act as a canvas for paintings, using illusory spatial colour phenomena to suggest specific landscape scenes.
