To celebrate the food festival again this year we have stunning collections of ceramics by some of the best contemporary ceramic makers.
Just arrived …the bold, distinctive patterned bowls of Andrew Ludick. Having originally studied illustration at Columbus College of Art, Andrew changed his focus away from painting and drawing to working with clay after moving to Ireland in 2003. He is influenced by the arts of the indigenous cultures of Africa and the Americas along with work by Paul Klee, Joan Miro, Thelonious Monk and Eric Dolphy.
…new work by a long time favourite of ours, Dylan Bowen, who has been having a really successful year with a demonstration and talk at The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford alongside a joint exhibition at the Oxford Ceramics Gallery with his renowned father Clive Bowen. (See images below)
