Madeleine is an independent artist and jeweller living on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. After her schooling in Wales she moved to Norfolk to study for a Fine Art degree.

She has been working as an artist and jeweller for more than twenty years and her love of drawing continues to be an integral part of her practice. Her training in draughtsmanship is visible through the works careful proportions and attention to detail.

Madeleine has developed a unique and exciting style that celebrates the visual and social value of ‘handmade’, making wearable art for those who truly appreciate the evidence of the hands of the artisan maker. Recycling gold and silver by melting down old and broken jewellery using traditional metal smithing techniques, she makes new pieces full of visible story telling detail.

Each and every piece is conceived, designed and made by Madeleine in her workshop.
