Get ready to unleash your creativity and design and print a Botanical Tote Bag.
During this workshop you will experiment with various fresh plants and transfer from them using textile pigments, creating an all over design using a variety of basic printing methods, such as cut out paper stencils.
This workshop will help students to understand the art of textile decoration. We will explore mark making, experiment with shapes and colours, repeat patterns and mix a bespoke colour palette ready for the final print. Your designs will reflect a seasonal botanical inspiration as we transfer unique decorative motifs directly from plants. Your final design will be printed onto natural 100% cotton tote bag.
Bring your own collection of flowers, leaves and seasonal garden blooms collected on the way to the Chapel.
The course is suitable for all levels of competency.
