Collagraph Printmaking – with Nichola Goff

Upstairs at the Chapel

Wednesday 25th November 2026, 10am-4pm

Create collagraph prints from simple materials and drawing tools to produce rich and wonderful prints.

Collagraph is a versatile printmaking process using card to create a textured printing plate by scoring, tearing and adding tape and other materials to make a surface to print from. Participants will learn how to create line, tone and atmosphere from the materials, learn how to use intaglio and relief inking processes to create a print and how to print collagraph plates using an etching press. Each participant will take home a set of hand-made prints and collagraph plates for creating future prints.

This is a great course for beginners and for those wanting to develop their skills or experiment with this process.

Nichola Goff is a multi-disciplinary printmaker based in the Forest of Dean. Nichola works with earth pigments, printmaking, photography, installation and social engagement to explore the themes in her practice; connection, ecology and social justice. Nichola works out of her studio, The Yard Print Studio.
