Weave a small contemporary Christmas tree as a reusable alternative to a spruce with Amanda’s homegrown willow. These conical frames look wonderful adorned with homemade willow stars and fairy lights and are a simple non fussy way of keeping the notion of a tree without the needles! After Christmas the tree can be used as a miniature plant support too.
We will create a few white willow stars to get you started afterwards.
Amanda from Wyldwood Willow is a local basketmaker near Usk and has over 25 years of experience weaving with willow and hedgerow materials and fibres. She will guide you through this process during the course of the day and will provide all tools and materials for you to use.
