Drawing has always been important in Rachel’s work. Having graduated from a 3D Craft Degree at Brighton University in 1999, her main discipline has been jewellery, where she translates her line drawings into solid objects in silver, as well as working with the intricate drawings on coins. Drawings have always been her starting point. Rachel works straight into the line with ink using a fine pen and often has original works made into limited edition prints.
The subjects are always domestic with a strong culinary theme.
