An eclectic collection of art and toys by painters, printmakers, jewellers, ceramic makers and sculptors.

Upstairs there is a series of rooms in a domestic interior where works are found in unexpected contexts to emphasise their beauty and uniqueness…

In a room (of cobalt green and viridian), lit up by glorious, painterly paintings by Royal Academy Schools and Royal College trained artists, is a small library of covetable art and design books.

In a kitchen, every shelf and cupboard is filled with jugs, plates and bowls of immeasurable beauty and design. Makers such as James & Tilla Waters, Dylan Bowen, Clementina van der Walt and James Burnett-Stuart.

In a following room, of distinctive style, warm and lively, packed full of colour and magic are large hanging wire fairies, stars and trees by Jayne Lennard and playful, gorgeous automata by Rachel Larkins. In an old Indian cupboard lined and festooned with richly coloured papers and cut-outs, you can find everything for packing and embellishing your Christmas presents. Inside the cupboard, shelves are filled with wonderful fairy tale books from long ago.

In a bright, airy bathroom, tucked away amongst blue, blue, intense paintings by Andrea McLean and Philippa Robbins’ sparkling, silver tin nichos are the Matt Caines’ stone carvings.

In the last room of all is a glass table, bedecked and laid with Christmas festivity. Dark cupboards filled with jewellery by Rachel Larkins ‘to die for’ beautiful and sculptural ceramics by Jazmin Velasco and Justine Allison. In an alcove, small traditional candlelit icons.
